A pharmaceutical company agreed on a settlement for its role in the opioid crisis with the state of Iowa receiving a significant amount of monetary compensation.
The VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, subsidiary 636GP in Shenandoah, Iowa scheduled 475 pending appointments in July compared to 727 during the same period last year, according to data collected from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
