City of Council Bluffs issued the following announcement on Dec. 20.
Dodge is in the City Hall Christmas tree with a reminder! If you have a real tree, you can set it on the curb for recycling during the week of January 6-10! Simply place your real tree on the curb on the same day as your regular collection four feet away from your regular garbage.
All lights, nails, ornaments, tinsel, wire, steel, wooden stands, and plastic tree bags must be removed from the tree before disposal.
Residents on City trash services can also bring Christmas trees to the Recycling Center at no charge through the month of January.
