MONTGOMERY COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL: Virtual Clinic Visits

Health event recap 01

Montgomery County Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on Mar. 23.

In an effort to reduce community exposure and to protect high-risk patients, Montgomery County Memorial Hospital will now offer Virtual Clinic Visits.

These visits will allow our patients to see a medical provider, without having to go to the doctor’s office or hospital. Patients will be able to communicate with the provider by audio/video communications.

To schedule an appointment, call 712-623-7280 and ask for a Virtual Clinic Visit.

Our staff will verify your information, just like any office visit. If using a computer or smart phone, the staff will prompt the patient to check their email for a link to begin the visit. If a patient does not have internet access, they can call-in for a phone visit. The provider will visit with the patient at their scheduled time.

Once the appointment is complete, the provider will determine if further in-person treatment is needed.

This will be billed as a clinic visit.
