Montgomery County Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on Apr. 10.
MCMH staff, in cooperation with Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency (EMA), did a practice run setting up its emergency tent. This tent can be used for various purposes during the COVID-19 event, such as a screening area or on-site temporary lodging for staff. When the COVID-19 event is over, the tent will have many potential uses by MCMH. The tent is easily set up, it is lighted, has a floor and can be air-conditioned or heated. The hospital’s tent will be stored at the Montgomery County EMA building.
