Montgomery County Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on May. 9.
The second, third and fourth cases of COVID-19 in Montgomery County have been confirmed this week.
None of these individuals are currently being treated at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital.
We continue to recommend residents follow the guidance of the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
• Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
• Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or elbow/upper arm.
• Stay home when ill.
• Practice proper social distancing.
• Disinfect surfaces often.
• Wear a cloth face mask in public settings.
