Pottawattamie County is now opening a new place to get tested for the COVID-19 virus.
The new All Care Health Center in Council Bluffs is the second center to open in the county, according to News 6.
Saria Burhenny, infectious disease coordinator at All Care Health Center, told News 6 that people are ecstatic about being tested.
“We’ve had quite a few people already call in this morning,” Burhenny told News 6. “There was someone in our parking lot before 7 a.m. this morning as we were setting up, asking about being tested.”
Burhenny added that the new testing site is placed in a place where many residents will have access to it.
“This is a good resource because we’re kind of centrally located in Council Bluffs," Burhenny told News 6. "We’re not really located on one end or another, so we’re helping that a lot of people will have better access to that.”
