Malvern Bank issued the following announcement on Aug. 5.
Dixie’s co-workers describe her as honest, dependable, funny, caring, genuine, loyal, practical, knowledgeable, team-player, hardworking, reliable, consistent, trustworthy, conscientious, meticulous, detail-oriented, kind, smart, sweet, and thorough.
Dixie has been with Malvern Bank for 3 years. She started as a teller then quickly transferred to the loan team as a loan processor, though you will often see Dixie helping out front when you stop into the bank. Dixie has lived in the Malvern area for 23 years. After marrying her husband, they moved here to farm with her father-in-law. She enjoys living on the farm and helping her husband with harvest. Dixie has 4 children: Sarah who lives in Oregon, Nolan who is attending college at Utah State University, Gracie who attends BYU, and Delaney who is a senior at Treynor HS.
Dixie enjoys spending time at their house in Idaho, where she gets to hike, fish, read, and relax. She mostly enjoys just spending time with family. Did you know: Dixie majored in communications in college and was the program director for her campus radio station? She was also a DJ on the weekends in a country dance club, how fun!
