Join the library for an author visit with David Davis on Monday October 19th at 6:30 pm. The program will live-streamed via Zoom & Facebook. Limited seats will be aviable at the library to view the program. Contact the library to reserve a seat or request the Zoom link.Davis is the author of the non-fiction book Wheels of Courage. Award-winning journalist David Davis is the author of six books, including Waterman: The Life and Times of Duke Kahanamoku (2015); and Showdown at Shepherd's Bush: The 1908 Olympic Marathon and the Three Runners Who Launched a Sporting Craze (2012). His work has appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Sports Illustrated, and Smithsonian Magazine, and has been anthologized in “The Best American Sports Writing” series.
