Iowa State's Cyclone Sports Performance Center is now officially open to all student-athletes, We Are Iowa reported.
The estimated $90 million upgrades to Jack Trice Stadium began after Matt Campbell was hired as the football team's coach in 2016.
"We are one week away from the kickoff of the Cyclones' 2021 season," Bill Seals, publisher of the Cyclone Report stated on Twitter, Aug. 28 "... Looking great!”
The facility was designed to serve as a one-stop shop for athletes that maintain rigorous schedules, We Are Iowa reported.
Among the enhancements for student-athletes is a new dining hall that will aid in nutrition, an academic center that will keep kids on track academically and a life skill center that will aid in career advising.
Additionally, the north side of the Jack Trice Stadium has been upgraded, including the construction of a plaza, the Des Moines Register reported.
