Early Career STEM Research Imitative

830

Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) and the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) are pleased to the kick-off of the Early Career STEM Research Initiative.

If you are interested in hosting a J-1 international researcher at your company, please sign a no-obligation “statement of interest” (the fillable statement is linked and also attached) and email it to jvisas@state.gov with your company name and the words “STEM Initiative” in the subject line. The statement of interest serves as a mechanism to connect interested U.S. STEM businesses with BridgeUSA sponsors of exchange visitors seeking opportunities in the United States.  Signing the no-obligation statement of interest allows interested entities to self-identify for possible participation and receive more detailed information.

In addition, OSTP and ECA will host a series of small virtual roundtables for businesses engaged in STEM research that are interested in learning more about the initiative. Please email stemresearch@ostp.eop.gov to receive an invitation. Please indicate in your email if your business has additional external advisors who are requesting to participate.

Questions? Email them stemresearch@ostp.eop.gov.
