The last Lenten Fish Fry will be Friday, April 8th. Thank you to our local Knights of Columbus Council #1164 for providing meals, and a time for us to gather! Next Friday, April 15th will be Good Friday, and a day of fasting and abstinence. Those ages 18 to 59 are permitted to eat one full meal, as well as two smaller meals that together are not equal to a full meal. Abstinence from meat should also be observed by those age 14 and older. Exemption is allowed for pregnant women and other medical reasons. Those exempted from fasting may substitute other sacrifices to which their generosity, spirit of penance and love for God spur them to do.
