Census Bureau: More women than men in Red Oak in 2020

Of the 5,323 people living in Red Oak in 2020, 52 percent (2,769) were women and 48 percent (2,554) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SW Iowa Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 31. In the 65 and over age range, there were 637 females and 426 males.
