Census Bureau: More men than women in Hamburg in 2020

Of the 1,300 people living in Hamburg in 2020, 46.8 percent (608) were women and 53.2 percent (692) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SW Iowa Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 24. In the 65 and over age range, there were 133 females and 163 males.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau's American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
