DE&I in the Workplace
This professional development workshop is designed to increase competency in:
- Building a foundation of cultural awareness within member organizations.
- Define bias and identify ways to address in the personal and professional setting.
- Create a workplace culture of trust and one open to feedback.
This workshop will be delivered of two 1.5 hour sessions.
Session One - Building Awareness
the training session will build a foundation for:
- Understanding identity
- Building language for diversity, inclusion, equity, justice
- Creating cultural awareness
- Developing the business case for inclusion & equity
This training session will dive deeper into:
- Discover and acknowledge our bias
- Identify microaggressions
- Define action steps towards becoming better allies & advocates
Participants must attend session one to participate in session two. Every participant is encouraged to attend both pieces of training.
