Seven CHI Health hospitals recently were recognized in one or more categories by the American Heart Association’s "Get with the Guidelines" (GWTG) program. Each year, the AHA exhibits hospitals across the country that demonstrate commitment to following up-to-date, research-based guidelines for the treatment of heart disease and stroke.
Among the criteria for this recognition is that hospitals maintain "unrelenting standards in the midst of adversity to ensure all patients have access to the best practices and lifesaving care."
