Smokin' Behind the Barn BBQ Cook-off & Family Day

$100/team for non-electric site, $125 for electric

Kids'Q competition: $25 per kid, unless they are with a BBQ team, then $20/ kid.

Check-in 5 pm Friday night. Cook meeting at 6 pm, along with meat handouts.

The categories: Chicken, Ribs, Pork Butt, and Brisket. Baked Beans are optional. Kids 'Q will be cooking Pork Loin.

Kids will have a cook meeting at 8 am and get their meat, which is provided by fairboard. Pork Butt and Brisket also provided by fair board.

Turn in times Sat morning: 

• Chicken 9:00 am
• Ribs 9:30
• Pork Butt 10:00
• Brisket 10:30
• Baked Beans 11:00
• Kids'Q 11:30

Awards around noon.

Category winners: 

• 1st: $175
• 2nd: $150
• 3rd : $125
• 4th: $100

Overall Champions:

• 1st: $500
• 2nd: $300
• 3rd: $100

Saturday evening, we will have a free-will donation meal consisting of the Pork Butt and brisket, and baked beans from the competition. There will be DJ music and a bags tournament. Around 8:30 Saturday night, we will show a drive-in movie, Twister. Free will donation for the movie.
