Census Bureau: More women than men in Atlantic in 2020

Of the 6,600 people living in Atlantic in 2020, 51.3 percent (3,389) were women and 48.7 percent (3,211) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SW Iowa Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 218. In the 65 and over age range, there were 882 females and 567 males.
