Saturday, Feb. 8: Lewis Central High School standout Sophia Driver’s college team loses to Oklahoma Christian Lady Eagles

On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Lewis Central High School standout Sophia Driver’s current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, lost 3-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Oklahoma Christian Lady Eagles.

The game took place at Tom Heath Field at Lawson Plaza. This was their first matchup against the Lady Eagles this season.

The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 11:20 a.m. at Gahnstrom Field against Minnesota State Mavericks.
